A new star is born. Edvald Boasson Hagen (Team Columbia High Road), only 21 years old, won todays classic race Gent Wevelgem in Belgium. After 203 km in cold and rainy weather the talented Norwegian beat Aleksandr Kuschynski (Liquigas) in a sprint "a deux". Boasson Hagen was riding SHIMANO DURA-ACE components and a PRO handlebar and stem in the most important victory in his career (sofar....).
